A fashion show presenting iconic traditional costumes of Japanese and Vietnamese women, the kimono and áo dài, will take place in Hanoi on Saturday. Speaking at a press conference about the event, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yamada Takio said that the current relationship between Japan and Vietnam is at its best time, not only in terms of the economy but also in sharing cultural similarities.

As part of activities to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, BRG Group, non-profit organisation Be-Japon, and the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam will co-host a special cultural exchange event in the form of a kimono-ao dai fashion show, staged by fashion designer Kobayashi Eiko at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake.

In January 2023, an Indian billionaire couple, Tuisha Seksaria and Gaurav Palrecha tied the knot in a series of beautiful Indian wedding ceremonies held at the BRG Group-owned Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center. The event was a five-day gathering of family and friends flying in from India, with over 350 guests in attendance.
